With built-in transmit beamforming, it delivers 1200Mbps combined throughput over 2 radios for uncompromising wired-like performance for outdoor applications. Built-in Intelligent RF optimization and QoS enforcement ensure that the AOS-1200 provides always-on connectivity for data, high-bandwidth and low-latency applications.
These AP’s are best suited for hotspot deployment in outdoor public areas like events, concerts, etc. where you have to provide wireless access to users present. Hardware or cloud* based management with an intuitive dashboard and user-friendly configuration; flexible solutions for guest access in shopping malls, garden/pool areas; and broader area coverage with external antennas options provide a one-stop solution for customers.
AOS-1200 provides excellent user handling capacity with 11ac Wave 2 technology. While shopping or attending events/concerts users like to stay connected to family and friends via internet, Apollo AOS-1200 AP offers a seamless wireless network to support user applications and multiple client devices. Single AP can cater up to 128 users simultaneously on dual-band.
With a guest network, you can enable secured guest access with easy onboarding using captive portal. AOS-1200 is also appropriate for education campuses like schools and universities. With deployment in open areas they provide excellent coverage and seamless connectivity for students to access study resources on tablets and laptops in the campus area.
AOS-1200 can be configured as standalone AP, or managed by Apollo hardware or cloud* controller to provide advanced features like Firewall and role-based access control system (local authentication with captive portal), that allows you to deploy a highly secure WLAN network with seamless enterprise-class experience for all connected users.

When managed through hardware/cloud* controller AOS-1200 automatically adjusts RF channel and power settings, provides band-steering and airtime fairness at chipset level, ensuring all APs stay clear of RF interference to deliver reliable, high-performance wireless network. No need to assign dedicated RF expertise and hardware especially required to fine-tune the wireless network.
With Plug-n-Play and 3 steps simple configuration, your access point can be configured to serve clients. You don’t need expert IT staff to configure and manage your wireless network. A user-friendly GUI with no complications helps you to easily monitor client activities and network resources’ health.
When managed through hardware/cloud* controller AOS-1200 allows establishing a guest network to provide Internet to visitors while preventing guest users from accessing network files or devices. It allows segmentation of user groups for better security and bandwidth control.
AOS-1200 supports standard 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE), for flexible deployments in areas where power outlets are not readily available.
Besides standalone mode, AOS-1200 can be centrally managed by hardware/cloud* controller, which centralizes the management, provisioning, and monitoring of wireless networks, scaling from small networks to larger and complex networks.
AOS-1200 delivers industry-leading, end-to-end robust security features. It supports all main-stream and standards-based security protocols, such as WPA / WPA2, WPA-PSK/ WPA2-PSK, Captive Portal and Social Media Login.
AOS-1200 is designed and tested for salt spray, vibration, extreme thermal conditions, shock and dust and is IP65-rated, operated from -20 C to +50 C, making it ideal for any extreme environments.
4 nos. female N-type connectors are available to connect external antennas as per customer requirements. Users can connect sectorial or Omni-directional antennas as required. This increases Wi-Fi coverage and provides stable Wi-Fi signals for users.
